This is a passion project. I built it because I love driving and wanted a tool like this to exist. The server is a computer under my desk — running costs are just electricity and internet.
The 100 tiles/day limit exists because the server will probably fall over under heavy load - serving vector tiles is genuinely expensive on a home machine. It's enough to check your progress, just not enough to browse endlessly.
I'm figuring out a sustainable way to run this long term without it costing me money every month. Until then, everything is free.
