We have been married since 2007 and we’re from beautiful Portland, Oregon. A shared love of traveling and experiencing new cultures helped create the drive for us to live a more modest lifestyle. Our hopes are to see the world while enriching our own personal lives.

Like most, we struggled with the burdens of student loans, working 9-5 jobs that were hardly fulfilling and living paycheck to paycheck; we decided to make a change. This is our journey to living with less in order to gain more and to live the life of our dreams by traveling the world. Here’s where it all began…and here’s how we did it!
